Vintage Thursday: Globes

I think a globe of the world needs to be in my house. Not only for decorative reasons, but becuase it's fun to just look at the world and see countries you never hear about.

I finally put together a new treasury on Etsy. It had been awhile since I made one. My theme is Tea for Two Valentine Date.

my mom bribed me once to get my picture taken at one of those "old fashioned" places in niagara falls. i was about 7... and did NOT want to do it... but when she said she would buy me some dangling globe earrings... the DEAL WAS DONE! i loved those earrings, even if they were gigantic on a little 7 yr old! haha! and when i lost one, i took the other apart and it became a globe for my barbies! haha! thanks for bringing back the memories! :)

Really pretty treasury! You are a very talented treasury maker!! One thing that I see at most estate sales is a globe! So, just go to the next one you here about and you should be able to pick up one for around $10 (max) I got one for $2 bucks once (shhhhh!)
