Uh oh, losing motivation!
I am losing Etsy motivation at the moment. I know I shouldn't let sales or lack of them influence how I feel about it, but of course it does. Things had been going ok for me. Good enough for extra pocket money. Now it's been almost 2 weeks without a sale and that makes me get into an Etsy slump. I debate even trying to add much else new before Christmas. I can relist what's already in the shops once in awhile instead. It is mostly just a hobby for me,but I like the small amount of extra cash too! Maybe this week I will sell more again and change my tune, but for now I don't feel like making new stuff to sell before Christmas. I know this is a Debbie Downer post, but I needed to vent.

Etsy slump.....almost sounds like a blog slump for me sometimes!! haha:)
Hope business picks up, dear!
I know! It is such a downer... before I opened my vintage shop, my other shop would sit all year without a sale until Christmas...not kidding- I think it went for 5 or 6 months this time until someone bought an ornament...or maybe I sold one thing - anyway, I wasn't breaking any sales records over there. I am sort of thinking about closing it but not sure - maybe just leave it open all year for ornaments...the name doesn't really fit ornaments.
i know what you mean. i try not to let sales affect how i feel about my shop or how much work i put into it but i know it seeps in there all the same and sometimes venting just needs to happen in order to get out of the funk! you've got such beautiful items in your shops and obvious talent...i hope you find your motivation soon!
