I have been MIA from blogging because we have been busy! My husband arrived here Friday night. Saturday we all went to a beautiful state park here in Alabama. Cheaha Mountain park. Beautiful scenery and the highest point in Alabama. It took a little more than an hour to get there from here(here=where my parents live).
Amazing walking boardwalk at the top of the mountain. It was soooo quiet and shady up there, it was somewhat Utopian. We were all in awe.
We are going to do more fun things tomorrow. Hope your 4th of July was grand! Ours was kind of low key, but we needed a day of resting from being out and about all day yesterday. I am exhausted from doing so much this past week. It's a really nice change, to be tired because of having fun!
