Hello Monday

I think I would like to start a weekly "Who are we buying for?" feature, for Christmas shopping ideas on Etsy! From children to adults. I plan to either make a lot of gifts this year or buy them on Etsy. I don't think I can get everything that way, but a majority of it at least!

I also need to find more shops to feature. I prefer shops with less sales or newcomers, to help out those shops that need more exposure. I have a couple shops in mind already, but will keep an eye out for more when I am browsing Etsy.

I sewed late last night while watching a 1995 movie version of Jane Austen's Persuasion. (pictures are actual actors in the movie) I had bought the book years ago, but the paper it was printed on made me allergic! It was a very inexpensive copy. Plus, the language of that day is so confusing.

I know it sounds "lazy" but I prefer to watch movie versions of books when the book is hard to read. Seeing it is helpful. I am not an expert on British English during that period. :P Anyway the movie was okay. I wasn't sure about the main character, Anne Elliot's portrayal. I didn't read the book but I read a chapter maybe and read online about it. The below picture is the facial expression that was made, through most of the movie. It gets old. But I guess, maybe that's how she is supposed to be?

I think my favorite Jane Austen novel turned movie is actually Sense and Sensibility.

Sense & Sensibility is my favorite as well! I read all the Jane Austen books I could find when I was a teenager and loved watching the BBC Pride & Prejudice.
Great post, thanks for sharing my dear!!!
